Claire and Martin’s wedding was a logistical triumph as they organised it from their home in New Zealand with help from their family here in the UK. Lots of emails and a meeting with Claire’s grandparents let to us covering this lovely wedding but we only met a week before the wedding when they arrived prior to them going away for stag and hen partys 🙂 Rachel was with Claire and her bridesmaids whilst I met up with Martin at the Alyn pub next to the church for a couple of last minute beers to settle the nerves. The week leading up to the wedding had been pretty wet and miserable but Claire and Martin were so lucky and the sun was just beating down on the day and we were looking for shade to do the pictures in, not hiding from the rain.
After the service it was off to Rowton Hall which is a beautiful venue which we know very well and as always the gardens looked superb with lots of colorful planting. Then it was on with the speeches and a Ceilidh to work off the meal and dancing into the night. Claire and Martin chose a stunning Queensberry album which happens to be made in New Zealand and was shipped direct to their home so its the first album we have produced that I have never seen, but they have received it now are a delighted with it.
