For the second time in a week we had a wedding just down the road here in Wrexham. We started the day at Meg’s parents house near Oswestry before meeting up with James and his best man Steve at Capel y Groes Church. For Meg, James and their family’s their faith plays an important part in their lives and so the ceremony was a real celebration with over two hundred guests in the congregation. Alongside the live band and singers were a number of speakers and guests who lead prayers and this really was a service which respected the day.
After the service along with the wedding party we traveled to Bellevue park in Wrexham for the family photographs which was lovely with lots of colorful planted beds. We then moved onto to Brymbo cricket club where we somehow managed to get a group shot of over two hundred people, no mean feat and a record for us. It was a really nice day and as we left at the end of the night they were still dancing, I will spare them all the dancing pictures on the blog, other than the first dance which was a very well danced waltz.
Here for the blog I have chosen to put the pre wedding and ceremony pictures all in black and white, in the finished album of course the couple will have choice to put them in colour if they wish but I do like the photo journalistic look that it has given in these photos.
