Emma and Neil chose the incredible Peckforton Castle as the stunning backdrop to their wedding. It was early December and was a beautiful crisp but cold day and I met up with the guys at a nearby hotel The Pheasent Inn whilst they got ready before heading off to the castle, whilst Rachel was with Emma and the girls. There were two ceremony’s on the day, first the civil wedding in the great hall in which Emma and Neil were formally married and then it was off to the chapel for a blessing. We had to work quickly outside as it was so cold and wedding dresses aren’t exactly designed for that, but still got the important family groups as well as some portraits of Emma and Neil in the castle grounds. It was great also to catch up with Dale who was one of the best men and Charlie who was a bridesmaid as I had shot their wedding a few years ago at the Doubletree in Chester. After the speeches it was on with dancing until late in the great hall and and some more funky pictures down in the crypt. Can’t wait to start working with Emma and Neil on their album which will look amazing!
